The most comprehensive research project conducted in Ireland on the use of the Internet is under way. The Joint National Internet Research (JNIR) is being undertaken by AMAS and market research company Behaviour & Attitudes and is being commissioned by 19 of Ireland’s leading websites.
It aims to assess internet usage patterns among Irish consumers and establish a credible currency in order to create a research-based foundation for Irish websites to sell advertising. The first phase of the research is due for publication in early 2008.
