AMAS client the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been praised in a European eGovernment report for its new website and its user-centric approach. “It (the site) is organised around users’ needs and offers enhanced accessibility to the content,” states The User Challenge, Benchmarking the Supply of Online Public Services which was commissioned by the European Union. The report praises the site for the “comprehensive guidance it offers companies, citizens and researchers”.
Commenting on its new site, and AMAS’s role in redeveloping it, the EPA said it “was aware of the need to make more strategic use of online channels, and AMAS assisted us in making that vision a reality.
“Starting with an audit of existing web channels, the AMAS process produced a well-researched plan for change. This included facilitating a high-level online strategy as well as a detailed roadmap for implementing that strategy and a full set of standards and guidelines to quality assure the redevelopment. Finally, AMAS helped to specify and procure a new design and to edit and migrate content to the new site. “Throughout this process, AMAS provided a responsive, professional and expert service to support the inhouse EPA team.”
