AMAS has now carried out its full eBusiness Audit for over 30 clients. This is in addition to many smaller-scale reviews using part of the audit methodology.

Among the clients who have benefited from the eBusiness Audit are leading organisations in:

  • The public service
  • Semi-state organisations
  • Financial services
  • The travel sector
  • Manufacturing
  • Communications industries

For these clients, the audit has been applied to a variety of online channels – intranet and extranet as well as public-facing websites and other web services.

The AMAS eBusiness Audit offers an objective framework for testing a channel against a database of over 200 points of best practice. The output from the audit is a blueprint for redevelopment.

“We try not to do reports for bookshelves,” says AMAS Managing Director Aileen O’Toole. “What we deliver is a prioritised roadmap for step-by-step improvement. Seeing our clients get the benefit of putting the Web to work for them is very satisfying.”
